Agent skill

Wire Slack Notifications to Agents

Connect Slack MCP is a free, MIT-licensed agent skill that wires the Slack MCP server into your AIML.chat agents so they post leads, escalations, and notable questions to the right channel — each post behind human write-confirm. Your agent loops the team in at exactly the right moment.

Connect Slack MCP is a free, MIT-licensed agent skill that wires the Slack MCP server into your AIML.chat agents so they post leads, escalations, and notable questions to the right channel — each post behind human write-confirm. Your agent loops the team in at exactly the right moment.

What it does

The skill installs and scopes the Slack MCP server for an AIML.chat agent and attaches posting tools to the channels you choose — least privilege. It sets up the agent to notify a channel when something needs a human: a hot lead for sales, an escalation for support, an unanswered question worth attention — each post carrying a clean summary and conversation context. Posting runs through write-confirm so nothing hits your workspace without approval, and you can also enable read tools to let the agent check whether a topic has come up before. The result is an agent connected to where your team already works.

The skill

name: connect-slack-mcp
Use when an agent should notify a Slack channel about leads or escalations.

Steps:
1. AIML.chat: MCP → Marketplace → Slack → Install, authorize via OAuth.
2. Scope access to the channels the agent may post to.
3. Attach the post tool; keep posting behind write-confirm.
4. Test: "notify the sales channel about this lead" → drafts the post, asks to confirm.

How to use it

Copy the SKILL.md into your agent framework's skills folder, or install it in AIML.chat under Agents → Skills. It pairs with the GitHub MCP skill for triage and the escalation template for the agent's prompt. See the Slack MCP hub entry and the MCP docs for how write-confirm works.
