What your agents can do with Paddle

Once connected, a support agent can recognize a customer, read their subscription and latest transaction to answer "what plan am I on" or "why was I billed" accurately, and check renewal dates before responding. When a change — an upgrade, a cancellation, a refund — is warranted, the agent drafts it with the specifics, but nothing changes until a person approves. Reads happen automatically; anything that writes runs through AIML.chat's write-confirm flow, so the agent proposes and a human approves before it touches Paddle. Grounded in your own content plus your Paddle data, the agent gives precise, cited billing answers, and the analytics surface the questions that recur so you know what to clarify.

Tools this MCP server exposes

The Paddle MCP server exposes read tools — look up a customer, read a subscription, read transactions — and write tools — update or cancel a subscription, issue a refund or credit, create a customer. You decide which tools each agent may use and scope the connection to least privilege. Read-only tools are safe to enable broadly; write tools always require approval, so no billing changes without sign-off.

Connect it in three steps

  1. 1In AIML.chat, open MCP → Marketplace → Paddle and click Install.
  2. 2Authorize with Paddle (API key) and scope access appropriately.
  3. 3Attach the Paddle tools to your support agent and test: ask it to "find this customer's subscription" and, if needed, approve a change.

Most teams start with read-only tools to answer billing questions, then enable subscription changes once they trust the approval flow. You start on a real free tier and scale as usage grows — see pricing for the agent and message limits, and the MCP docs for how write-confirm works. When you're ready, start free.
