Email SMTP MCP for Communication

The Email SMTP MCP server lets your AIML.chat agents send transactional emails and follow-ups from a conversation — with a human approving every send. It installs from the MCP marketplace in a few clicks and lets your agent close the loop over email when chat isn't enough.

What your agents can do with Email SMTP

Once connected, an agent can send a follow-up to a visitor who asked for documentation by email, deliver a summary of an answer, or notify an internal address when something needs attention. The agent drafts the message — subject, recipient, body — and the send waits for approval, so a person reviews exactly what goes out before it leaves your domain. This is useful when a conversation should continue asynchronously or when a visitor prefers email. Sends always run through AIML.chat's write-confirm flow, so the agent proposes and a person approves before any email is dispatched. Grounded in your own content, the drafted emails stay accurate and on-message rather than generic.

Tools this MCP server exposes

The Email SMTP MCP server exposes a small, deliberate surface — primarily a write tool to send an email (recipient, subject, body) through your configured SMTP server. Because email is outbound by nature, there are no broad read tools; the focus is controlled, approved sending. You scope the connection to your own SMTP credentials and decide which agents may use it. Every send requires approval, so nothing leaves your domain without sign-off.

Connect it in three steps

  1. 1In AIML.chat, open MCP → Marketplace → Email SMTP and click Install.
  2. 2Configure your SMTP host, port, and credentials — stored encrypted — and set the from-address.
  3. 3Attach the email tool to an agent and test: ask it to "email this visitor the setup guide" and approve the send.

Most teams scope the from-address and review every draft until they trust the flow. You start on a real free tier and scale as usage grows — see pricing for the agent and message limits, and the MCP docs for how write-confirm works. When you're ready, start free.

Will it send email on its own?+

No. Every send requires human approval through AIML.chat's write-confirm flow before the email leaves your domain.

How are my SMTP credentials stored?+

Encrypted at rest and only decrypted in-process at send time; the agent never sees them.

Is there a free plan?+

Yes — start on the free tier. See pricing for higher agent and message limits.
